Youth Leave for Glory Ridge - July 17, 2005

Glory Ridge was established over thirty years ago as a non-denominational Christian Camp, located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina (30 minutes northwest of Asheville).  The purpose of the camp is to provide a place for religious groups to gather to enjoy God’s beauty and worship.  Worship can take many forms, and each group finds its own way with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Youth groups come from all over the country for a week’s stay at the camp. While there, they go into the community serving the residents of Madison County (a poor, rural area) by helping with home repairs such as painting, repairing roofs, building handicap ramps, etc. For more information, check out the website at gloryridge.org

Somewhere in the mountains, at a place called Glory Ridge, a carpenter still mends hearts.
