Camp Glisson 2008

Following the worship service on June 22nd, four of our children headed to Dahlonega for a few days at Camp Glisson. Village Mini Camp is a child’s first opportunity to experience Village camp at Glisson. It is designed for rising 2nd-4th graders. These children get a wonderful taste of what it’s like to be at camp. They live in a group with two amazing college-aged counselors and ten to twelve campers. Mini campers will have the opportunity to participate in great, age-appropriate Camp Glisson activities, such as creek hikes, Singing on the Porch, swimming, low elements, hiking, kayaking, and lots of other fun. Campers will be surrounded by people who love them, love camp, and most of all, love God! They will get to experience the wonder of participating in Camp Glisson chapel services; with peer-led skits, fun songs, incredible worship, and prayer. The goal is that mini campers will leave Glisson with a newfound love for camp and a realization that they are truly loved children of God!
