Sunday School Classes	Good Samaritans (1st and 2nd Grades)
"In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." (Matthew 5:16) Early elementary school children are taught about God as he interacts with the people of the Bible. And they grow in their understanding about Jesus as our Savior. The Rock Solid curriculum connects the events of the Bible with the lives of our children so that they can become lifelong followers of Jesus. The teachers of this age group are excellent role models. Not only are they taught about God and Jesus, the children begin to develop an understanding of prayer and concern for others. It is never too early to begin living a good life as a testimony for those around us.
Letting my light shine in everything I do - what a wonderful theme for these 1st and 2nd graders. And the fruit of that light is a goodness, righteousness, and truth that everyone can see. The Rock Solid curriculum for this group helps them develop their faith while having a great time with stories, games, and crafts.
