"All men are like grass,
and all their glory is like the flowers of the field;
the grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of the Lord stands forever." (1 Peter 1:24-25)

Children deserve a strong start in
life. By teaching kids the Bible, we seize
the window of opportunity to shape the lives of
these children. Throughout their lives, our
children are going to encounter values, attitudes
and beliefs that are sometimes different from the
Christian values we want them to follow.
Children learn that Bible events in history are
real, which in turn empowers them to become more
solid in their faith. They can live the way God
intends for us to live, and feel comfortable in
doing so, knowing that they are following a true
blueprint for their lives. They learn to know God
and can openly proclaim his goodness, grace, and
love.

| The B-I-B-L-E, that's the book for me!
Rising 3rd graders are given a gift of a Bible on
promotion Sunday. Subsequently, a major part of the
curriculum for this age group encompasses understanding
what the Bible is, a general overview of its' parts, how
to use it, and then beginning to understand the themes
that God wants us to know as we live our lives. |
